George E. Sloan, M.D. graduated cum laude from medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, in 1994. His internal medicine residency was at New York University Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital. His hematology/oncology fellowship was at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. He practiced in the Chicago area for four years before joining Cancer Health Treatment Centers in 2004. Dr. Sloan has a wide-range of clinical interests including breast cancer, colorectal cancer, lung cancer and hematological malignancies. Dr. Sloan is a volunteer clinical assistant professor of medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine Northwest. Dr. Sloan practices at our Valparaiso and Crown Point offices. He also sees patients at the Woodland Cancer Center in Michigan City.
Peter Tothy, M.D. graduated from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He completed his residency training in internal medicine and received fellowship training in hematology/oncology at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He completed an additional fellowship in Clinical Medical Ethics at the MacLean Center at the University of Chicago. Dr. Tothy joined our practice in 2008 after having been in private practices in Evanston, Illinois since 2005. He is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. He is passionate about providing state-of-the-art cancer care utilizing diverse chemotherapies, immunotherapies, and hormone therapies. He is well-versed with the newest agents including targeted molecular therapies and monoclonal antibodies. He has a special interest in doctor-patient communication. Dr. Tothy is practicing at our Crown Point office.
Olusola Ogundipe, M.D. graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He practiced in Nigeria before going to the United Kingdom for training in hematology. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, and the Royal College of Pathologists of the United Kingdom. In 2001 he came to Chicago, Illinois to do his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. Prior to joining Cancer Health Treatment Centers in November 2008, he was in private practice in Oak Lawn. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. Dr. Ogundipe brings with him valuable experience in benign and malignant hematology. He practices at our Valparaiso office. He also sees patients at the Woodland Cancer Center in Michigan City.
Neeru Bose, MD graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. She completed her training in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan. She completed her fellowship in Medical Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY where she served as Chief Oncology Fellow. Dr. Bose spent her final year of fellowship dedicated to the treatment and management of breast cancer. She is committed to guiding her patients, from diagnosis and treatment, and onto survivorship! She joined Cancer Health Treatment Centers in 2013 and practices at the Crown office.
Gowri Ramadas, MD graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeast Ohio University’s College of Medicine. She completed her internal Medicine Residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at University of Illinois in Chicago where she was Chief Fellow. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. Dr. Ramadas is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys running, reading and helping at the YMCA food pantry. Dr. Ramadas joined Cancer Health Treatment Centers in 2015 and sees patients at our Munster and Crown Point offices.
